Contraindications

Reiki and Tuning Forks therapy is generally regarded as safe and non-invasive. However, there are certain health conditions whereby treatment with Reiki and/ or Tuning Forks is not recommended. Please see the list below and let me know if any apply to you. If you would still like to go ahead with treatment, please contact your doctor and obtain their written approval to bring to the session.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR REIKI/ TUNING FORKS  INCLUDE:

• Bleeding

• Broken bones

• Cancer and Cancer Treatment

• Cardiac or Brain implants - including pacemakers

• Diabetes

• Epilepsy

• Heart Conditions 

• Mental Health Issues / Disorders (including Schizophrenia and Psychosis) 

• Metal Implants: metal devices including pacemaker, coronary shunt, artificial heart valves, metal pins, plates or staples

• Pregnancy in the 1st or 3rd Trimester
